Crazy Rummy
Delete my account
This page explains how to request the deletion of your Crazy Rummy account and the associated data, whether or not you still have the app installed.
1. From the app (fastest)
If Crazy Rummy is installed on your device, deletion is done directly in the game: open your profile, choose “Delete my account” and confirm. As you are already signed in, deletion is immediate and no further verification is needed.
2. By email (if you have uninstalled the app)
If you no longer have the app, send us a request from the email address of your account, stating your player nickname. The procedure is as follows:
- Send an email to the contact address at the bottom of this page, with the subject “Account deletion” and your nickname in the message.
- We reply by sending a confirmation code to that same address.
- Send that code back to us: it proves the request comes from the account holder, and not from someone who merely knows your nickname.
- The deletion is then carried out and we confirm it by email.
- If your account was created through Google or Apple, or as a guest without an email address, write to us from any address: we will explain how to verify your identity, the simplest route being to reinstall the app and use the built-in deletion.
3. What is deleted
Deletion is permanent and the account cannot be restored. The following is erased or anonymised:
- Your nickname, avatar and badge.
- Your email address, your password and the link to your Google or Apple account.
- Your friends list, your invitations and your list of blocked players.
- Your level, experience points, season stars and ranking position.
- Your unlocked emotes and badges, as well as your referral link.
- Your past games are no longer linked to you: they remain in our statistics in anonymous form, with no link to an identifiable person.
4. What is kept, and why
Two things remain after deletion, for reasons we would rather set out plainly:
- Your subscription purchase receipts: the law requires us to keep them for 10 years for accounting and tax purposes. They contain no game data.
- The free-gem counter attached to your device: it is tied not to your account but to the device itself, and is kept to prevent deleting and recreating an account from being used to obtain gems over and over.
5. Active subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription: it is managed by Google Play or the Apple App Store and must be cancelled from your device settings. Do this before deleting your account, otherwise billing will continue. If you later create a new account while the subscription is still valid, you can recover it through the app “Restore purchases” option.
6. Timing
Deletion carried out from the app is immediate. A request sent by email is processed as soon as we receive your confirmation code, and in any case within one month at most, in accordance with the GDPR.
